17 Shahrivar 1357 (8 September, 1978), the vast demonstration in Tehran and other provinces against Pahlavi Regime, 17th Shahrivar Rising and massacre of defenseless people in Shohada (Jaleh) Square. The 17th of Shahrivar, 1357 (819/1978), later termed the "Black Friday", is one of the most eventful days of the Islamic Revolution of the Iranian people.....

It is the day for the weak and oppressed to confront the arrogant powers, the day for those nations suffering under the pressure of American oppression and oppression by other powers to confront the superpowers; it is the day when the oppressed should arm themselves against the oppressors ; it is the day when the hypocrites will be distinguished from the true believers.....

On the Night of Power pray to God with all your heart and He will definitely answer all your prayers. The Quran says : "Surely We revealed it (the Holy Quran) on the grand night. And what will make you comprehend what the grand night. The grand night is better than a thousand months. The angels and Gibreel descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair, Peace! It is till the break of the morning." (97:1-5)

In the mid of the month of Ramadan, the 3rd year of Hijrah, a son was born in the small mud house of Hazrat Ali (a.s.). The Prophet Muhammad (saw), on behalf of Almighty God, named him Hassan. Imam Hassan (a.s.) was brought up in the lap of his father Hazrat Ali (a.s.) and mother Fatima Zahra (s.a.) and learnt lessons from the school of his grandfather Prophet Muhammad (saw).....
